The Lawrence Guy Family Foundation hosts various annual philanthropic programs to support the Foundation's mission.
Back to
School Event
Every August, the Foundation hosts an annual back to school event for 300 local kids in need. The kids get the opportunity to go to Gillette Stadium and interact with their favorite football stars. During the event, the kids receive brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies, swag and apparel to help them get ready for the upcoming school year. Guy and his teammates take a break from training camp to enjoy lunch with the kids and speak to them about the importance of education.
Thanksgiving Giveaway
Every November, the Foundation hosts a Thanksgiving Giveaway for families in need. During the event, the Foundation provides over 200 local families with Thanksgiving meals. Guy and his teammates hand out turkeys, potatoes, fresh vegetables and Thanksgiving fixings to each family. Lawrence & Andrea also get the event catered so all of the families can enjoy a warm meal. The Guy family also raffles off various prizes for the families during the event (game day tickets, appliances, mattresses, gift cards, etc.).
Shop with
a Jock
Shop with a Jock is an annual event that gives underprivileged children a happier holiday. Every December, the Foundation partners with a local Walmart to host the shopping spree. Each child gets paired up with one of their favorite NFL stars and gets to go on a shopping spree to fulfill their Holiday wish lists. The Foundation provides each child with a gift card, event t-shirt and dinner.
